Stage Descriptions
The part of the walk is wonderfully varied with views across Val Veni to the immense rock walls and ice falls on the south face of Mont Blanc. There are no passes to cross today and the height gain is modest, the undulating nature of the high route along the Val Veni can make this seem a fairly demanding day. The higher you climb the more you gain a true impression of the vast scale of these mountains.
