Stage Description
Enjoy the easiest part of the trail with no passes to cross or high and remote country to negotiate. Wander through the Swiss mountain valley past old dark timbered barns and observe and take pleasure in a way of life that has been hardly touched by time. A mostly forested walk will bring you to Champex, which is famous for its lake and the distant views of the Grand Combin.
